Say, "I love you" when it is needed the most

A Personal Request to Family and Friends From a Grieving Loved One...
I have just been through more than this heart can stand and request of
all of you: Don't make me select your casket. Don't make me select
the details of the type of service you want. I can bear the pain of choosing
your songs, writing your obituary, picking out your clothes, anything
– but please… please… don't make me select your
urn or casket.
Simply take a moment now, talk to your funeral home and tell them you want
to pre-arrange your services. This will be your last
“I Love You” to me… spoken at a time when I need it most.
The most common question that survivors have when they enter one of our
funeral homes or cemetery is “What did my mom/dad, friend/partner,
husband/wife want?” Without the information already on file with
us, that question can never be answered with certainty and peace of mind.
But imagine the comfort it will bring your loved ones knowing that your
service, your burial and your memorial were exactly what you wanted.
By taking the time to think about these things now, you can make these
important decisions beforehand. You can take the time to consider the
type of service you want so they won't have to. It's a selfless
gift of love we do for those who mean the most to us.
A funeral is not a day in a lifetime, but a lifetime in a day… a
Celebration of a Life well lived.
